Wojtek Tracewski was born in 1962, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and worked as a painter for several years. He took refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl in 1980, began translating his lectures and books in 1988, and started giving lectures on Buddhism in 1992. For many years he was the editor-in-chief of the Polish quarterly ‘Diamentowa Droga’ (The Diamond Way). He currently lives in Spain.
Leszek Nadolski (Misiek) has been a student of Lama Ole since 1982. He has also been a Buddhist teacher for many years. He runs the Buddhist Retreat Centre in Kuchary, which hosts one of the largest meditation courses in Poland every year.
